Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the influence Mobile Instant Messaging with scientific approach on critical-thinking skills physics learning during Covid-19 pandemic. research method used a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. population all eleventh-grade science students Senior High School Bandar Sribhawono. sampling technique purposive technique. instrument test in form essay questions measure students’ skills. Based skills, experimental class and obtained 72.60% 61.30% basic support indicator. In elementary clarification indicator, 64.40% 51.90%. advanced 62.20% 45.30%. Indicator inference, 67.90 46.40%. strategy tactics, 66.40% 46.09%. score critical thinking both classes tested independent sample t-test sig value 0.001 <0.05. Thus, Ha accepted which indicated that were able think critically. study, it can be stated there an mobile instant messaging
